Finally, Japan's most conterversial novel is coming to North America. For those who aren't in the know, Battle Royale is Survivor meets Lord of the Flies. The movie was savage yet incredibly moving. Shocking, but never explotive, Battle Royale is a movie that everyone should see and now it looks like a book that everyone should read. Aptly, it should be in stores near Valentine's Day.
